I have been blowing glass for 25 years and mostly vases

Over that time I’ve come to realize the importance of the flower

Making a vase is not just making another object of decor

But creating an exquisite frame for flowers

A bridge between build human architecture and the organic landscape

My life as an artist began early in life with drawing lessons from a small town neighbor

And projected me on a path that led to the Rhode Island School of Design

Where I received a BFA in glass in 1988,

Since then I’ve worked for and with other glass artists and in 2006

Took over full ownership of Studio Paran.

Although you can find my work in stores throughout the country

I am pleased to offer one of a kind and short run designs here.
